LifeSpan Medical was founded in 2023 to provide specialized, evidence-based weight management in northern Minnesota. After recognizing a growing need for structured hormone replacement therapy for perimenopausal and menopausal women, hormone services were added in 2026.

With 12 years of experience as a paramedic and 4 years as a Physician Assistant in primary and urgent care, our founder, Ben DeVries, brings broad clinical experience to weight management and hormone therapy.
We evaluate the whole patient. That includes reviewing chronic conditions, optimizing medications, addressing mental health concerns, and considering sleep and metabolic health when appropriate.
Care is structured, monitored, and adjusted over time to support long-term results.
